You know your Tanga box came today.. upon closer inspection, someone took the time to write "rosebud" on the side, haha. A play on our address, no doubt. I just watched the new trailer for the Golden Compass, and wow. Pretty amazing stuff, I cant wait for the movie! December 7. Only 4 months from now, but so much will happen in that time. I love you darling, and I'll see you in a few short hours.

Wednesday Morning thoughts

Sir,

I woke up very early then very late this morning. The first time I woke up at 6 am, the light was on and my phone was on my chest... I remembered that I hadnt heard from you then I surmised that I fell asleep prematurely. I looked at my phone, saw you had called (at 2am! No wonder I fell asleep...) and went to see if you had written back to me. I read your message, got a little sad then went back to sleep. Then I woke up at 9.

I just started the AC, since its supposed to be very very hot today and began making a roast I bought on Monday. Actually, what I bought was huge so I cut it and froze half. What Im making will be good to eat for the remainder of the week at least and maybe there is a Shepherds Pie in its bovine future. I bought 5 lbs of carrots so you can imagine...

I feel disoriented this morning :( but I have plenty to do, as I have to send those invitations out. First I have to get a hang of the pens. Your mom lent me a Waterman and a Levenger brand (it has an L on it so I am presuming it's a Levenger brand if such a thing exists) and Im excited to try both since I have a soft spot for wonderful pens.

Well it's been quite a day! The power just came back on- it's been off since about 4:30. I went to May Jen and got some chow fun then went over to your Mom's to get the pens and sit down and eat my dinner. We had a nice chat and she lent me her battery operated lantern in case I didnt have power when I got home and insisted that I take the extra batteries too, hee hee.

The ADT thing is beeping again and I dont think I can tolerate it all week while you are gone so I ask you nicely to tell me how to get it to stop beeping. :)

I love you with all my heart, although every part of me is tired right now. I hope to hear from you via phone before I conk out.

I'm listening to She's Got a Way. It makes me feel like you are with me. I feel deeply satisfied by our conversation last night, it did a lot of good for me.

I feel sublime, very quiet and joyful, and our home feels like a happy sanctuary today, full of possibilities and a canvas on which we can paint beautiful memories.

I hope all is well otherwise, I know your shot at 1st didnt happen, but I hope you make a strong finish. Having such a full turn out for it makes me proud of you and so happy at the success.

I think you said you were going for a win in mainly two games? Good luck. Im a little jealous at your opportunities for play, I think I'm not going to get alot of meaningful, thought provoking stuff in this week, but it will be a lot of superficial fun and that makes me excited for it.

I am wearing my collar and all of my thoughts are with you. It is about a half hour after we spoke briefly on the phone, and I dont believe I said any of what I wanted to say... I'm thrilled that you enjoy this format and I hope it's ok that this is more than one paragraph long.

News:

I sent the check to the original address and not the one you emailed me this afternoon; I received your email too late. I guess she should have been more on top of things if she wanted it in Mass and not CT.

I bought a paper shredder at BJ's today. It had to happen sometime. :)

The place we gather at every Wednesday night is closing! End of August! Oh nos. Have to find a new place I guess. They are talking about looking into bars... that could get expensive. I will offer our place as a stop gap measure, as I know you would as well.

On a mixed note, I'm trying to send all of my good luck to you for the later tournament rounds, and kisses and hugs of course.

I'm so looking forward to hearing your voice later, Boss. My own naughty thoughts make me blush.

Monday Morning thoughts

I will write Monday's journal a little later. I'm listening to She's Got a Way like you wanted me to. I never realized what a sweet song it is, and it makes me proud and happy that you want me to know how much you appreciate me.

It makes me feel a little silly to say, but ever since you left I have been trying to figure out what sweet thing I can do to express my appreciation and love for you. I'm working on it, but I take requests (and I can follow orders pretty well too, ha ;)

So I know I was joking last night, but when I woke up this morning I thought that this blog thing might be a great way for me to let you know what is happening with me outside the confines of the journal you are having me write and it is already giving me a much needed outlet to express myself to you while you are away. I'm a little heartsick at your absence and it's not yet been 24 hours.
